Attorney-client relationships are the cornerstone of all law practices. Attorney-client relationships are documented using many different tools: pencil and paper, contracts, word documents and even electronic communications such as email. Most business communication tools and client records are recorded electronically today moving towards a paperless office.

This MCLE course will discuss issue of understanding of ensuring client confidentiality. This course will describe responsibilities of an attorney toward this sacred trust. This course will also discuss the challenges of moving toward a "Paperless Office" and the ethical issues related to securing all forms of electronic communications.
